A dream comes true for Harry Potter fans. A real life wizarding school is about to open. The Bothwell School of Witchcraft is all set to open on 11th August 2017. Though it’s not what we read in the Harry Potter books, still it’s the closest we are about to witness.
The Bothwell School of Witchcraft will open for three days from 11th August 2017 to 13th August 2017. According to the press release the Bothwell School is to live the dream of becoming a real life student of magic. The school will have the story, characters, props and scenery (Off course the castle).
The en-rollers will be sorted into houses; they can attend classes, witness magical creatures, explore the grounds and attend the banquet. A murder mystery is planned for the visitors; everyone will be given a character in the story. The event will be like a movie or a video game.
The Herstmonceux Castle in the in the East Sussex, England has been selected as the event’s castle. Every participant should visit the castle on the given date and can live the life of a wizard. The tickets will be available at Kickstarter from 28th March. The tickets are priced around £400-£450.
Participants should be over 18 years of age by July 2017. Robes, food and accommodation throughout the stay will be taken care by the organizers and the visitors are advised to bring the wand of their choice.
So Harry Potter fans get ready for the first of its kind event and don’t miss it.
