The book’s short intro is interesting and different. It goes like this

Warning: This book does NOT include hopeful thoughts, lucky charms, and cute quotes. That’s because success, happiness and everything else you want in life needs to be fought for – not wished for. In Lilly’s world, there are no escalators. Only stairs.

The above statement looks pretty much straight forward. Instead pouring the book with quotes and activity sheets, Lilly has a different perspective. Lilly is famous for her hilarious comments, we might expect the same from her book.

For those who doesn’t know about Lilly, she is a YouTube sensation. Lilly Singh was born on 26th September 2008. She was raised in Toronto, her parents are from Punjab, India. After completing her education Lilly has started a YouTube channel Superwoman in 2010.

The channel has risen to instant fame. Her practical look into life, her funny comments and videos has got her many subscribers. The channel has 10.9 million (29th January 2017) which is something many YouTubers long to achieve.

Forbes has ranked as the 3rd most paid YouTuber in 2016. Her videos have been featured in YouTube rewind for the past three years. She has got MTV Fandom award, Teen Choice Awards, Streamy awards and more.

How to be Bawse is her new avatar. If you are Lilly Singh’s fan you will definitely know her style. Self-help? we have to wait and see but humour in the book is guaranteed. If you don’t agree with me just watch few of her videos. 😛
