Baahubali 2 review:
Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? Every cine fan has the same question for the past two years. The answer has hit the screens in an epic fashion.
Baahubali the Conclusion has hit the screens with much expectation. S.S.Rajamouli who has created this phenomenon has once again proved why he is the master of film making. Baahubali the Conclusion excels in every way possible.
Since the word go, the movie takes us into the story. Rajamouli has done a flawless work in webbing the screenplay. Every minute is so precious. Be it the visuals, the mass elements, action sequences, romantic portions and others. Everything stands in our heart.
The emotional portions in the second half might make few to shed tears. Prabhas, Sathyara, Anushka and Ramya Krishnan has totally nailed the emotional scenes. The war sequences by the end might feel a bit unrealistic still it entertains us.
One of the best movies of Indian cinema for sure. This movie might change the course of Indian cinema. Rajamouli has opened the gates for Indian cinema to reach international levels.
Where to start? The movie excels in every department. Rajamouli has done immense hard work which is visible in every frame. Visuals are the top notch of the movie. Mahismathi is majestic were Kundhaladesam is gorgeous. The VFX team has done extraordinary work in capturing each frame. Peter Hein as the stunt master has created the perfect action sequences required for the movie, especially in the first half.
Cinematography was another advantage of the movie which takes the movie to another level of excellence. Above all its M.M.Keeravani’s music that contributes equally as the screenplay. At times the BGM is better than the visuals. Keeravani has done an exceptional job in giving life to the project.
S.S.Rajamouli the man behind all this success. He has shown how a real movie should be. Each and every frame speaks his name. The interval block is the perfect example for his mastery in movie making. Take a bow sir.
Cast is another strong aspect of the movie. Prabhas as Baahubali and Shiva has lived both the characters. His brave walk, expressions, dialogue delivery and action shows his potential as a class actor.
Anushka who has not have much to act in the first part has perfectly utilized her role in the second. She is beautiful, bold and blessing in every frame she appears. Ramya Krishnan is the perfect choice for Sivagami. Her eyes are enough to speak thousand words.
Sathyaraj as Katappa tickles us with his humour and impress as with his emotions. Another perfect choice of cast. Rana as Bhallala Deva has threatened everyone with his acting. A scary but excellent choice for the antagonist.
Nasar no words to explain this man’s acting. He excels in every character he chooses to be portrayed.
Apart from all the plus the movie does feel a bit sloppy in the final war, but the visuals and the BGM might make us forget this minor flaw. A perfect example of an epic movie. A sure shot blockbuster.
