Twinkle Khanna India’s highest selling female author of 2015 is back with another book “The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad”. The book was published on 7th of November by Juggernaut. The book contains four different stories.

Story one is “The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad” which speaks about a girl who changes her village with her Idea. The story speaks about the society’s view on Girl Child.

Story two is “Salam, Noni Appa”. It is about relationship and finding love in old age. It does speaks about the wish of our heart is important than the society.

Story three “If the weather permits” is about women’s marriage. The story clearly states marry a woman only she is of perfect age irrespective of her wish or the society.

Story four “The Sanitary Man of Sacred Land” is about a man who produces sanitary napkins for low cost. It is based on a true story.

The book is pretty impressive. Like her previous books Twinkle Khanna used simple language which makes it easy to read. Each story is different in it’s perspective. The stories will make you smile, feel sad and feel excited. The stories have their own parts and moments which will impress the readers and will make them feel for the characters as well. The author has questioned the believes of the society through her characters. It’s one of the best reads in the recent times.

Goosebumps review:  Each story has Goosebumps moments. Readers will enjoy the stories and this book will make you think for sure.
