Our Story Needs No Filter Review:

Rising to fame in the first authorial is a difficult task and maintaining that stature is harder than that, Sudeep Nagarkar has excelled in both. With more than a dozen books Sudeep travels with the same fame he does with his first.

Our Story Needs No Filter is another feather to his cape. Though most of his books are romantic ones, Sudeep tries a new set up every time. Our Story Needs No Filter is different from all his previous books in terms of the plot.

The novel revolves around the politics that dirties the college elections. The beauty of the novel is the way the author has handled love and friendship around the college politics. There are instances that relates to the reality of the present day college life, especially the way the elections divides the student community.

When Raghu and Ruhi impress us with their love, Raghu’s friends pleasant our hearts with their friendship. Standing for a friend, breakups and reunion of friendship were narrated in a way that soothes the readers mind.

Characterization was perfect to the core. We cannot vote for just one character, as each and every character has its own uniqueness. Apart from love and friendship the novel teaches the truth behind the dirty politics that ruins the college life.

On the whole Sudeep’s new novel is excellent in many ways and it will remain as one of his best books. A not to miss novel for its rich emotional content and characterization.
