Peter Jackson’s next film is Mortal Engines

jackson-enginesPeter Jackson the much celebrated director and producer have announced that his next production would be “Mortal Engines”. The novel series, written by Philip Reeve an English author from Sussex. Peter is well known for his abilities to convert unimaginable books into movies. His direction and production outputs Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and King Kong has rocked the world during the time of its release. This announcement about his next production has already taken a hit among his fans and movie goers.

Mortal Engines are no less to Lord of the Rings in terms of battle field. The story is set in Post-apocalyptic time where the world has been destroyed by war. Now each and every city travels in wheels. Sounds weird ha? 😛 The war between cities continues while travelling in wheels. The novel series has four parts Mortal Engines, Predator’s Gold, Infernal Devices and A Darkling Plain. This story needs much CGI and wealth to bring in the exact story. But, for Peter Jackson it’s something he does always. The movie is expected to be released by December 2018 (What?).

Now it’s good time to grab the books and read it before the movies. Soon we can expect another Peter Jackson phenomenon around the world.
