Love of my life review:

Rohit Sharma is known for his previous romantic novels. He has increased his fan base in each novel. Love of my life is his third romance. The book has hit the stands on 7th February 2018.

Love of my life is one of the romantic novels, which offers both romance and a thriller. Rohit knows how to engage the readers throughout his creativity. The first few chapters might bring in the taste of patriotism But once the engagement of Virat and Pratishtha happens, the novel turns into a romantic one.

The second half of the book is a thriller which keeps the readers excited as well as nervous. For few pages one might think that the story is guessable, but turn of events occur at right times to prove them wrong. The climax twist is a surprise.

Love of my life, brings in different emotions. Rohit has made the readers jump in joy, as well as cry in pain. The success of the novel is its characterization. Each character has its shape, especially Virat and Pratishtha.

The lucid language and the thriller elements makes it a one sit read. Apart from few painful and slow pages, Love of my life is a must read for romantic thriller lovers.

Worked well:
  • Virat and Pratishtha’s love story
  • The second half of the story
  • Plays with different emotions
  • Twist of events
Should have been better:
  • Few slow pages in between
