Gear up for the surprise form Bloomsbury. The Harry Potter series copyrights acquirer has planned to publish new editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
The famous wizard Harry Potter was first introduced to the world by J.K.Rowling in the year 1997. Since then the novel series has took the literature world with storm. It has broken many world records in the publishing history. J.K.Rowling has become a millionaire and it is a very rare feat for an author. According to Bloomsbury the novel series has sold more than 450 million copies and has been translated into 79 languages.
Bloomsbury children book publisher who has acquired the Harry Potter series (20 years back), is now planning to publish a new edition. The new edition has four different colors and covers, reminding the four houses of Hogwarts (Gryffindor, Ranvenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff). The covers were designed by Levi Pinfold. The hard covers will have striped sprayed edges where as the paperback will have single color sprayed edges.
Apart from the cover the new edition will have facts about Hogwarts and three new illustrations from Levi Pinfold. The paper backs are priced at £ 7.19 and hard covers at £ 13.49. It is now available for pre-order in Bloomsbury’s official website. The books will be available in stores by the end of June 2017.
