the-winds-of-winterThe epic fantasy is back. “Game of Thrones” the world famous epic fantasy and successful TV series written by George R.R. Martin needs no introduction. It has been one of the most loved and praised novel series in the modern era. The sixth book in the series ‘Winds of Winter’ is said to be under proof reading. The book is expected to be released in the early 2017.

Not though officially confirmed it is being rumored that the announcement will hit the internet anytime by the end of this year. But, there are other reports which state that the author is still hundred pages away from finishing it. It has been 5 years since the fifth book “Dance with Dragons” of the series hit the stands.

Previously the publisher has asked Martin to complete the book by the end of 2015. If that might have materialized we might have got the sixth installment before the sixth season of Game of Thrones TV series. Now it is being said that the book might be released before season 7, which is being premiered by HBO.

Whatever the truth only the author might knows it. But the fans are in dilemma and expectations. If the reports are to be believed than we might get Winds of Winter by 2017.
